We collect only the information necessary to process your research inquiries and communicate with you regarding your orders. This includes: your name, email address, institutional affiliation, shipping address, and research notes provided during inquiry submission. We do not collect or store payment information directly — all payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

Your information is used exclusively to: (1) process and respond to research inquiries, (2) send order confirmations and shipping updates, (3) verify institutional affiliation for compliance purposes, and (4) comply with legal obligations. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Research notes are reviewed solely to ensure compliance with our Research Use Only policy.

All inquiry data is stored securely in encrypted databases hosted by Supabase. Communications between your browser and our servers use TLS 1.3 encryption. Email notifications are sent via Resend with API key authentication. We implement rate limiting, input sanitization, and honeypot fields to prevent automated abuse. Access to inquiry data is restricted to authorized Ares Research personnel only.

We retain inquiry records for a maximum of 7 years to comply with record-keeping requirements and to resolve any disputes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through our secure contact form. Upon verified request, we will remove your personal information within 30 business days, except where retention is required by law.

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (SMS notifications for order alerts). Each of these providers maintains their own privacy and security standards. We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law enforcement with valid legal process.

You have the right to: (1) access the personal information we hold about you, (2) request correction of inaccurate information, (3) request deletion of your personal data, (4) object to processing of your data, and (5) request a copy of your data in a portable format.
