All Ares Research BPC-157 vials arrive as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder sealed under inert gas. Reconstitution requires bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) to prevent bacterial contamination and extend stability. Do not use tap water, sterile water, or saline alone.
Wipe the rubber septum with a 70% isopropyl alcohol swab. Allow to air-dry for 30 seconds before needle insertion.
Using a sterile 1ml insulin syringe (U-100, 31G), draw 3.0ml of bacteriostatic water. Pull back the plunger slightly past 3.0ml to clear the needle dead-space.
Insert the needle at a 45° angle so the stream flows down the inner glass wall, not directly onto the powder. This prevents foaming and denaturation.
Gently swirl the vial in a circular motion for 60–90 seconds until the lyophilized cake is fully dissolved. BPC-157 is highly soluble; do not vortex or shake.
Reconstituted BPC-157 is stable for 30 days refrigerated at 2–8°C. For long-term storage, aliquot into separate vials and freeze at -20°C immediately after reconstitution. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Standard Ares Research vials contain 5mg or 10mg of lyophilized BPC-157. The table below shows concentration after reconstitution with standard volumes.
Proper storage is critical to maintaining peptide integrity. BPC-157 is susceptible to degradation from light, heat, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Every batch of Ares Research BPC-157 undergoes third-party analytical verification. Certificates of Analysis (COA) are available for download on each product page.

— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What water should I use to reconstitute BPC-157?
Use bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) exclusively. Sterile water lacks a preservative and allows bacterial growth. Never use tap water, distilled water, or saline without bacteriostatic additives.
Q: How long does reconstituted BPC-157 last?
Reconstituted BPC-157 remains stable for approximately 30 days when stored at 2–8°C in the dark. For longer storage, aliquot into separate vials and freeze at -20°C immediately. Avoid freeze-thaw cycling.
Q: Why does my BPC-157 vial look empty?
Lyophilized peptides form an almost invisible film or cake at the bottom of the vial. Hold the vial at an angle under bright light to see the white crystalline deposit. This is normal and expected.
Q: What concentration should I use for cell culture research?
For in-vitro cell culture studies, BPC-157 is typically evaluated at 1–10 mcg/ml in complete media, with cell viability and proliferation assessed at 24, 48, and 72 hours. Always include a vehicle control.
Q: Is BPC-157 the same as TB-500?
No. BPC-157 (15 amino acids) and TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 fragment, 43 amino acids) are distinct peptides with different sequences, targets, and research applications. They are often studied in combination but are not interchangeable.
