All Ares Research CJC-1295 vials arrive as lyophilized powder sealed under inert gas. Reconstitution requires bacteriostatic water to prevent bacterial contamination. Do not use tap water, sterile water, or saline alone.
Remove vial from -20°C storage and allow 15 minutes at room temperature before reconstitution.
For a 10mg vial, inject 10ml bacteriostatic water to achieve 1.0 mg/ml. Use a sterile insulin-grade syringe for accurate measurement.
Insert needle at 45° angle through rubber stopper. Inject solvent gently along the interior glass wall. Do not inject directly onto the powder cake.
Roll vial between palms for 60 seconds. CJC-1295 dissolves readily. Visual inspection: solution should clarify completely.
Reconstituted CJC-1295 is stable for 7 days at 2–8°C. For long-term storage, aliquot into separate vials and freeze at -20°C immediately. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Standard Ares Research CJC-1295 vials contain 10mg of lyophilized GHRH analog. The table below shows concentration after reconstitution.
CJC-1295 is highly stable in lyophilized form due to its compact 29-aa structure and lack of oxidation-sensitive residues.

— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What water should I use to reconstitute CJC-1295?
Use bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) exclusively. Sterile water lacks a preservative and allows bacterial growth. Never use tap water, distilled water, or saline without bacteriostatic additives.
Q: How long does reconstituted CJC-1295 last?
Reconstituted CJC-1295 remains stable for approximately 7 days when stored at 2–8°C in the dark. For longer storage, aliquot into separate sterile vials and freeze at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycling.
Q: What concentration should I use for GH secretion assays?
For GH3 rat pituitary somatotrophs or primary anterior pituitary cell cultures, CJC-1295 is typically evaluated at 0.1–10 mcg/ml in serum-free DMEM/F12. GH secretion is measured by radioimmunoassay or ELISA at 1, 3, 6, and 24 hours. Always include a vehicle control.
Q: Does the DAC modification affect reconstitution?
The DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a C-terminal modification that does not significantly alter solubility or reconstitution behavior. CJC-1295 dissolves readily in bacteriostatic water within 60 seconds. The DAC group becomes biologically active only after intravenous or subcutaneous administration in in-vivo models.
Q: Is CJC-1295 the same as Tesamorelin?
No. CJC-1295 is a 29-amino-acid truncated GHRH analog with DAC modification and DPP-IV resistance. Tesamorelin is a 44-amino-acid full-length GHRH analog with trans-3-hexenoic acid conjugation. They differ in sequence length, half-life, stability mechanism, and research applications.
